Ordinary passport holders planning to enter Thailand for a MICE event (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) supported by TCEB must obtain a Tourist Visa. This means that individuals traveling to Thailand for the event need to apply for a "Tourist Visa."
To determine whether a visa is required, please visit the official Thai eVisa website: https://www.thaievisa.go.th/tourist-visa. Participants from countries exempt from needing a Thai visa generally need only a valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity from the date of travel to enter the country.
Required Documents:
- Bio-data page of Passport or Travel Document
- Photograph taken within the last six months. If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.
- Travel booking confirmation
- Proof of accommodation in Thailand, e.g. Accommodation bookings, invitation letters from family/friends in Thailand
- Financial evidence: amount of not less than 20,000 THB (Single) and 60,000 THB (Multiple), e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter
- Document indicating current residency
**Please check relevant embassy/ consulate's website for specifically required documents.
If attendees need to apply for a visa, they should consider the "Tourist MICE Visa (TR-MICE)" category. To find the correct procedure for obtaining this visa, visit https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ and select "Do I need a Tourist Visa" followed by "Which visa type should I apply for?"
For visa applications, please consult the website of the relevant embassy or consulate to review the specific document requirements.
Foreign nationals not eligible for entry under the Visa on Arrival or Visa Exemption lists must obtain a visa through a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence.
